  59. Rasmus Söderberg and Mandus Söderberg.

  82. RAINBOW is an art package especially written for the powerful true colour
  83. mode on the Atari Falcon 030™. The program is aimed at all graphic artists
  84. who need a quick and effective art package to produce true colour (65536
  85. colours) pictures for games, demos, utilities or private use.
  86.  
  87. The program runs from either floppy or harddisk, and you don't have to
  88. change colour mode or resolution from the desktop, since RAINBOW
  89. automatically changes that (needless to say it also returns to the old
  90. desktop settings when you quit).

  92. RAINBOW only works with Falcon 030™.

  95. Since this is a demo version, you won't get a manual. Therefore you will
  96. have to guess how RAINBOW works (of course you'll get a manual when you buy
  97. the commercial version, where you also can save your pictures...), but at
  98. least we're able to reveal the following "hints":
  99.  
  100. You click on different functions with the left mouse button in order to
  101. activate them.
  102. But if you want to adjust the function's settings, you'll have to press
  103. the right button.
  104.  
  105. Choice of colours are made using the "colour bars" or "quick choice
  106. palette", that can be altered by changing the colour in any of its "corner
  107. boxes".
  108. Note that RAINBOW uses 16 bit true colour (many other programs that work in
  109. true colour use in fact only 15 bits, resulting in half as many shades of
  110. green).

  112. Press the right button on "rgb" or "vga" in order to change the frequency
  113. and overscan (default is none overscan).
  114. If you happen to set a mode that your monitor can't handle, you may restore
  115. the default monitor settings by pressing the key 'help'.

  117. RAINBOW 0.5 can manage to load *.TGA, *.TPI, *.NEO, *.PI? and *.PC?.
  118. Default is *.TGA, but if you want to load another format you may press
  119. the right button (instead of the left) on "load".

  123. you decide if you're going to buy it.
